2017 Stage Times, How To Collect Your Wristband & Friday Canteen

We’re just a week away from Handmade 2017, and we know you all want to plan your weekend. Below you will find the schedule for all three days of the festival. We’ll provide you with a handy printed version of the programme which includes all this, plus details of all the other things you can see and do.

Please note that this schedule and the acts appearing may still be subject to change and you should observe signage in the venues for any alterations.

COLLECTING YOUR WRISTBAND: FRIDAY

All tickets MUST be exchanged for a wristband at our wristband exchange which is situated at LCB Depot from Midday until 10pm. You will not be able to enter any of the venues without a wristband, which must be collected from this exchange.
31 Rutland Street, LE1 1RE

COLLECTING YOUR WRISTBAND: SATURDAY & SUNDAY

All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband at the entrance to O2 Academy Leicester.
Percy Gee Building, University of Leicester, University Road, LE1 7RH

BUYING TICKETS ON THE DOOR

You can still buy a wristband on the door on all three days – whether it be for a single day or the whole weekend. They will be slightly more expensive than buying in advance, which you can do here.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Make sure you’ve read our Frequently Asked Questions page as it will give you more information about what you can and can’t bring on site.

CANTEEN

On Friday we’re partnering with Canteen at LCB Depot – a brilliant new street food event which takes place on the last Friday of each month. We’ve put our wristband exchange and some stages down at the creative business hub, and you’ll be able to find a huge variety of street food to set you up for the evening ahead. You can find more information at http://www.lcbdepot.co.uk/event/canteen-3

Final Line-Up Announcement & Friday Programme

We are absolutely delighted to bring you the final round of acts for Handmade 2017.

The full line-up is as follows…

Our Friday programme brings Handmade back in to the city centre with shows at Bishop Street Church, The Cookie, Firebug & The Guildhall. These events will be free if you have a weekend ticket, or £10 if you just want to come for the night, or if you need to top up from a Saturday or Sunday day ticket. We hope this gives you a flavour of how Handmade was in it’s infancy. Entry to shows will be on a strictly first come first served basis.

The Friday programme features a stage curated by Drowned In Sound, as well as a stage curated by long time friend of the festival and ‘Leicester folk hero’ Grace Petrie (who will also be performing) and will see the return of The Handmade Comedy ‘Tent’ (which isn’t actually a tent).

Volunteer at Handmade

Want to be a part of the team that puts Handmade Festival together? We’re looking for a small number of volunteers to help keep the wheels turning – including stewards, runners and various other bits and bobs. If that sounds like something you’d like to do, drop us an email to volunteering@handmadefestival.co.uk
