Croydon duo Frauds’ take on stripped down punk, mostly heard so far on 2017 album With Morning Toast & Jam & Juice, is based around heavy, grimy riffage, lyrics veering between dark humour and social commentary and a willingness to dive into sludge-rock, hardcore and mathy areas. Their live power and comedic stage presence has earned them support slots for Jamie Lenman and good comparison points Future Of The Left and Slaves.
