Hotel Lux

Formed in Portsmouth but incubated in the same South London scene as Shame, Yak and Goat Girl, Hotel Lux bring a rough-hewn take on garage rock, influenced by gothic sensibilities and the pub rock scene musically and the depths of humanity lyrically. Lewis Duffin’s realist lyrics are openly inspired by the social realism of film directors such as Ken Loach and Shane Meadows, taking in hangmen, riots and urban decay.
