Formed in the back streets of Leicester’s cultural quarter, The Brandy Thieves represent four misguided and mischievous lost souls who finally found each other in the heart of England’s midlands. Described as Gypsy Punk with Soul, the Thieves present their listeners with macabre folk tales, twisted stories of love and loss, jaded social commentary but all with a cheeky wink and hearty laugh. By combining gypsy rhythms and punk energy, ska grooves and folk storytelling, the band has created a sound that is uniquely their own, a sound that has stolen the hearts of all of whom that have seen them perform.
