Waking Aida are an experimental rock band from Southampton.
A style influenced by the soundscapes of Explosions In The Sky and hooks of Minus the Bear is combined with off kilter time signatures and rising electronics. They bring colour and warmth to a genre searching for fresh modes of expression.
Recorded with Jamie Ward (Maybeshewill), ‘Eschaton’ is a youthful and erratic debut with dreamy undertones.
