The Weekend is Nigh
Handmade is drawing near, so there are a few things we need to tell you about…
WRISTBANDS
You MUST go to the Firebug wristband exchange (1 Millstone Lane, LE1 5JN) when you arrive at the festival to swap your ticket for a day or weekend wristband. You CANNOT go straight to venues with your ticket. Everything is within easy walking distance of this point.
PROGRAMMES & SCHEDULES
We’ll give you a free programme and map when you collect your wristband from us, but we’ll also post stage times and venues on the website before the event so you can start planning your weekend. Venues open at the earliest 18:30 on Friday and at 16:00 on Saturday and Sunday (although secret sets may precede these times).
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Firebug is an 18+ venue. Bishop Street Church and The Guildhall are all ages. Everywhere else is 14+.
SECRET SETS
Some of the headliners and previous handmade acts will be playing super secret acoustic sets at the festival. Make sure you follow us on twitter (@handmadetotally), befriend us on Facebook and check throughout the weekend to find out who will be playing when and where.
AFTER PARTY / SILENT DISCO
Any wristband holders (day or weekend) can attend the after party on Sunday upstairs at Firebug. We’ll have DJ face-offs from some of the Handmade bands, where you choose who you listen to via the medium of silent disco headphones. This kicks off after the bands finish downstairs.
