Hey There,

We’re Handmade. We’re a music and arts festival, and we live in the city of Leicester in the UK.

For one weekend a year we take over venues and more ‘unusual’ spaces across the city and fill them with awesome things. Music, comedy, art, photography - you name it. We endeavor to bring the best national and international performers to the city and have them play alongside the awesome local talent we have to offer.

The people behind Handmade have been putting on shows for over a decade, working tirelessly to bring awesome people and things to the city of Leicester. Five years ago we started a festival called White Noise Christmas with our friends. This is the next logical step towards creating an arts festival Leicester can really be proud of.

2013 was our first Handmade festival. The music side of things was headlined by Rolo Tomassi, Dutch Uncles, Nine Black Alps, The Twilight Sad, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Sam Duckworth, Johnny Foreigner, Sky Larkin, Sulk, Maybeshewill and Her Name Is Calla, with comedy performances from Robin Ince, Rob Deering, James Acaster and many more.
