Abigail Wood

Abigail Wood’s work embodies the sense of a passage through time. She uses found 35mm slides from her Grandmother’s house and transforms them into a combined set of stills and moving image projections. She aims to create symmetric eye-lines and imagery within the photographs, but with a heavy emphasis on contrasting tonal differences between violets and sepia colour to enhance the focus of the images.
