Melissa Morgan’s work revolves around ideas of the everyday, and how we present art. She aims to ‘interrupt the everyday with the everyday ‘by taking particularly mundane domestic items and presenting them into our daily routine as projections in windows of public places. The work becomes accessible for anyone to view when walking past, not just those interested in art. The usually unnoticed objects create a stage for themselves, a platform of thought amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life which is occurring around it, promoting a moment to stop and look.
