Returning to action after the tragic passing of guitarist Matt Gore last April, Leicester’s Arcades have earned support from Radio X and slots at Isle Of Wight Festival and Y-Not for their unashamedly big glammy classic indie sound spiritually linking Britpop and the Arctics/Kasabian/Courteeners set, all soaring anthems and firecracker onstage energy led by the forceful rasp of frontman Tommy Cobley.
